Technique + History = Martial Art

Guro Randy Siordia is an amazing instructor. I've taken many different martial arts over the past 20 years, but just within the last few years I've grown more intersted in Kali, Escrima, Silat, etc...I found Wolf Martial Arts and have trained with Guro Randy for a few months now on and off. His method of training is great! He has an immense amount of knowledge and explains techniques and skill sets very well. He knows terminology and history and always incorporates those aspects in his lessons. I'm very glad to have met Guro Randy and will continue to train with him in FMA!

When The Student Is Ready, The Teacher Will Appear

I have been practicing the martial arts for over a decade. Without a doubt, training in the arts has changed my life in a positive way. I credit martial arts for improving myself-confidence, self-control, and overall mannerisms. The road traveled thus far as a martial artist has brought me the great fortune of meeting many knowledgeable, admirable people – one such person is Randy Siordia.

I have been training with Randy for over three months and already feel a dramatic improvement in my technique.  His positive attitude and desire to help people are contagious – they create an excellent learning environment.  Randy pays great attention to detail in his teaching style, explaining each discipline step-by-step with each step receiving an equal amount of emphasis.  I leave each of Randy’s sessions with a strong desire to come back and learn more.

One of Randy’s passions is Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do – Bruce Lee’s martial arts system and way of life.  Bruce Lee has been an influential figure in my martial artist quest; having Randy as an instructor makes me feel connected to the legendary Bruce Lee more than ever before.  Randy is an excellent instructor with a knack for bringing the best out of his students.

As the Buddhist proverb goes: “when the student is ready, the teacher will appear.”  If you are serious about either becoming a first-time student of martial arts or taking your martial artist studies to the next level, I highly recommend doing what it takes to make sure Randy Siordia is the teacher that appears when that decision is made.

Patience Is A Virtue

“Great martial arts system, with a patient instructor who explains concepts very well. I learned only the basic concepts, but Guro Randy always took the time to show what the basic concepts will lead into if done correctly. Fellow advanced student was also very helpful in getting me to understand the basics. I know I will learn a lot from this group, and truly look forward to more training!”

Right Martial Art, Right Teacher

“My wife and I have been studying martial arts for many years, focusing on practical self-defense with Kenpo and Krav Maga.  However, we felt our training was lacking in one area, and that was knife defense, so we did some searching and found Wolf Martial Arts.  After a few classes it became clear that we had found not only the right art (kali/escrima) to help us with knife defense, but more importantly the right instructor.  My wife and I have studied with many instructors in the past, but very few have been as proficient and patient as Randy.  He even convinced us that we should incorporate more of the Filipino martial arts into our training (such as stick and empty hand) instead of just focusing on knife defense, as he said that would help improve our overall self-defense and fighting skills, and that has certainly proven to be true.  So if you are looking for an instructor who has exceptional proficiency in the Filipino martial arts, and the ability to teach not only the history and the art, but also the effective combative aspects, then you owe it yourself to meet with Randy and see what he has to offer.”
