James Dominguez - Senior Instructor

James has been training in the martial arts for over 20 years and has the unique distinction of having been awarded the privilege of teaching Jeet Kune Do at the very young age of 17.  In his martial arts career he has trained with many talented and highly regarded instructors such as Ron Balicki, Dion Riccardo, Frank Cucci, and Carlson Gracie Jr.
James has extensive experience teaching martial arts, as well as its concepts and philosophies.  He is the founder of The Dream Program, which was designed for Chicago’s inner city youth.  The program focused on teaching kids "Discipline, Responsibility, Excellence, And Mastery" of life through the use and application of martial arts.  He has also been a featured lecturer on Violence Prevention for Chicago’s Columbia College.  James takes great pride in his ability to teach the functional application of martial arts in a realistic setting, and most importantly, in his ability to motivate, inspire, and coach individuals to greater heights of personal development.

James is currently pursuing his instructorship in Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do under Ron Balicki and his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Carlson Gracie Jr.  He holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Roosevelt University and a Master’s Degree from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University.

Jeremy Wilson - Senior Instructor

Jeremy started his martial arts training at a young age in Japanese Jiu Jitsu. Through the years and hard experiences in the streets, Jeremy realized that he needed to learn functional techniques for many situations. In 1991 Jeremy found his calling in martial arts with Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts. Putting in tireless training hours, Jeremy quickly gained knowledge and experience to earn an instructorship.
While Jeremy taught Jeet Kune Do, he still explored other martial arts systems in order to expand his knowledge and skills by training with masters and legends of different martial arts systems. This includes enhanced Wing Chun training, Gracie Jiu Jitsu with Renzo and Rickson Gracie and Frank Cucci for Jeet Kune Do and Muay Thai.
Presently, Jeremy promotes the art and awareness of Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do, introducing it to new people regularly.  Spreading the word of JFJKD is a passion he feels is necessary in order it keep the art alive in these trendy times. Living the martial way gives Jeremy peace and understanding within and the wisdom to overcome life’s challenges, both mental and physical.
